Inyoung Jun awarded scholarship from Korean American Society in Biotech and Pharmaceuticals

Inyoung-JunInyoung Jun, a Ph.D. student in epidemiology at the University of Florida College of Public Health and Health Professions, received the Mogam Science Scholarship from the Korean American Society in Biotech and Pharmaceuticals, or KASBP. The MOGAM-KASBP Scholarship program supports undergraduate and graduate students pursuing science-related disciplines at universities or scientific institutions outside of the Republic of Korea.

Jun was recognized for her scientific achievements and potential to be an important contributor in the field of biomedical and pharmaceutical science. In addition to travel expenses, she will receive a $5,000 scholarship and will present her research at the 2023 Fall KASBP Symposium in New Jersey, November 3-4. She is mentored by Mattia Prosperi, Ph.D., a professor of epidemiology and the college’s associate dean for AI and innovation.
