Cyanna Mitchell Kishiyama received her Bachelor of Science in public health from the University of Tampa and her Master of Health Science (MHS) from the University of Florida (UF), followed by certifications in health education (CHES®), and public health (CPH). Cyanna’s research is focused on applying self-determination theory, to foster internal motivation, optimize performance and promote long-term wellbeing of employees within high-performance organizations. She is currently conducting a scoping literature review to identify organizational drivers of academic (dropout/retention) and personal success (attitudes/qualitative narrative) outcomes among neurodiverse students enrolled in higher education.
