K.D. Jacobs received her Bachelor of Public Health from the University of Florida in May 2019, during which she completed graduate-level course work in her final academic year. Upon her undergraduate graduation, she was offered a position in the University of Florida Public Health Ph.D. program, with a concentration in Social & Behavioral Sciences. Now, while in the enrolled Ph.D. program, she has assisted in teaching numerous Master of Public Health courses, as well as participated in various grant applications, manuscript writings, and research projects in a variety of topic areas and methods. Her research interests include public health program development and evaluation, improving resources for medically underserved populations, infectious disease, vaccine hesitancy/decision-making, and global health.
